Testclosure on september 14th

The anual testclosure of the Maeslant Stormsurge Barrier will take place on september 14th. The expected start of the closing procedure will be around 3.10 in the afternoon. There will be a variety of things to doe for both children and adults. Tours are available during the day.

More information about the program will folow in the upcoming weeks.

Opening hours

Het Keringhuis is open on weekdays from 10 am to 4 pm and on weekends from 11 am to 5 pm. The restaurant is also accessible without a ticket. The restaurant is closed from 1 October until 1 April. Coffee, tea, softdrinks, snacks and lunch are available. Group lunches on request.

The Keringhuis is easily accessible for people with a disability. The exhibition parts, movie theaters and all other facilities are located on the ground floor. We have our own car park. Right next to the entrance is a parking space for people with a parking card for disabled people. We also have 2 wheelchairs and there is a ring line available. Pets do not have access to the Keringhuis. A disabled toilet facility is also available.
